Paulo Roberto Dantas Oliveira Officer
Graduated in Business Administration from Universidade Católica de Salvador (UCSal), in Bahia; holds a graduate degree in Marketing and HR from Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS); Business Management specialization from INSEAD, in France (RETIRAR), and a master’s in Business Administration from Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). Specialized in the administration of local and multinational chemical and petrochemical major companies operating in Brazil and elsewhere.

With a career spanning more than 35 years, he has gained experience in the human resources, IT, finance, supplies, labor relations, communication, community relations, legal, business management, factory commissioning and decommissioning and corporate governance due to his experience with Dow Química Aratu, Acrononitrila do Nordeste (Rhodia), Dow Corning Silinor, Pronor/Nitrocarbono/Propet (now Braskem), Monsanto do Brasil. Started his career as an intern with Dow in 1979 before rising to management positions in the following years. He was general manager of Dow Corning Silinor’s hydrolysis plant in Bahia from 1989 to 1992, corporate administrative manager of Pronor/Nitrocarbono/Propet from 1992 to 1999, and senior management representative for building and commissioning Monsanto’s plant in the Camaçari Industrial Complex, in Bahia, from 1999 to 2002. In 2003, he became Cristal’s Human Resources business partner and was a member of its board of directors from 2005 until 2014.

He has also served as a member of the fiscal council of the Camaçari Industrial Complex Companies Association and was the executive vice president and chairman of the fiscal council of ABRH-Ba for several years and chair of the Strategic Personnel Management Committee of the Bahia Section of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in 2012/13.

Viktor Maximiliano Augusto dos Santos Veras Officer
Graduated in Law from Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), with specialization in Civil Procedural Law and Civil Law, both from Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS).

He has worked as the Company’s legal manager since July 2005. In April 2009, he became a member of the Board of Directors.

Worked as legal manager for: Veracel Celulose, Bompreço Bahia S.A. (supermarket/hypermarket chain in the state of Bahia), Arthur Andersen S/C and Unifacs, in which he was also a Law professor.

He has also worked at the State of Bahia Employers Federation (FIEB) and is a member of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Brazilian Association of Chemicals Companies (ABIQUIM) and vice-president of the Legal Committee of the Bahia Section of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM).

Alejandro Hernan Tochilovsky Sitting Member
Graduated in Business Administration from Universidade Católica de Salvador (UCSal), holds a graduate degree in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and master’s in Business Administration from Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), with the dissertation: Analysis of supply chain rollout and performance metrics – a case study of commodity producers at the Camaçari and Aratu industrial complexes.

Experience acquired from 25 years with local and international major companies such as Akzo Nobel, Braskem, Millennium Chemicals, Lyondell Chemical and Cristal, working in planning, supply chain and sales.

Experience in mergers, different environments and cultures, complex interfaces and conflict management involving processes and people. Developed and deployed processes directly affecting management of the business, involving relationships and initiatives on the governmental, tax, financial and commercial levels.

Spent approximately 20 years managing large contracts involving complex negotiations, large amounts of capital and differing interests.

International experience of working with multidisciplinary teams to build and align global strategies with other executives in Latin America, the USA, Europe and Asia. Skill set and flexibility to handle different environments at local and international levels, strategic vision and focus on business results. Fluent in English and Spanish. Innovative for change processes and flair for learning and passing on new knowledge.

Entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary profile with ability to pursue short- and long-term strategic goals. Experience in negotiating with a wide range of interlocutors. Interpersonal skills that are essential for roles on boards and executive committees covering commercial, governmental relations and investor relations. Currently heading Cristal’s Supply Chain department for Latin America and Central América.

Roberto Garcia de Souza Sitting Member

Chemical Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Bahia – UFBA, with an Executive MBA in Administration from Salvador University – UNIFACS, with 32 years of experience in the industrial chemical segment and solid experience in the manufacture of titanium dioxide, having held various positions of leadership in the Company.

He has extensive global exposure and has participated in several global technology and business teams in the United States, Germany, France, England, the United Arab Emirates and China, including recently participated in the process of acquiring one of the group’s industrial plants in China.

Has good traffic in other business functions such as Finance, Supply Chain and M & A.

He also serves as a member of the board of directors of COFIC – Comité de Fomento Industrial de Camaçari, member of the board of directors of SINPEQ – Union of Companies of the Polo Industrial de Camaçari, and is its representative to the board of directors of the Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia – FIEB.

Ricardo Antonio Weiss Effective Member
Ricardo A. Weiss, 63, is a civil engineer graduated from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo and holds a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation CEAG. He completed the Advanced Management Program – AMP and the Corporate Governance course at Harvard Business School and several INSEAD in-house courses. He is an advisor certified by IBGC – Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance.

He is currently the Managing Director of W Consultoria e Participações, an independent advisor at Tupy, Cristal Pigmentos, Coteminas, Duas Rodas Industrial, Vicunha and Vivix (Cornélio Brennand Group), member of the advisory and family councils of Unigel and member of the Superior Council of Economy of FIESP. He served as an independent advisor to Usiminas, Log-In Logística Intermodal, M.Dias Branco and T4U (Towers For You) Holding Brasil. He was a consultant advisor to Columbia Trading and Alcoa Latin America, as well as an alternate director of Alpargatas.

He was CEO of Tavex Corporation / Santista Têxtil and General Director of the operating holding of Grupo Camargo Correa, Executive Director of Commodities of Copersucar, CEO of several basic metals companies in Brazil and abroad and member of boards of several Anglo American companies Plc , among them Anglo American South America, Salobo Metals (joint venture with Vale), Aracruz Celulose (now Fibria) and Copebrás.

Has a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Escola de Administração de Empresas da Bahia, and a graduate degree in Tax Planning with Higher Education Methodology from Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS); attended Tax Planning extension course at Faculdade Baiana de Ciências (FABAC) and Accounting specialist at Centro Integrado Luiz Tarquínio.

In his career spanning over 38 years, he has gained experience in finance, accounting, personnel, tax and materials with large private-sector companies such as Millennium Inorganic Chemicals do Brasil S/A (Tibrás – Titânio do Brasil S/A), COBAFI – Cia. Bahiana de Fibras, EMCA – Empresa Carioca de Produtos Químicos S/A, (Grupo Atlantic), Indústria de Premoldados Star Ltda. (Odebrecht Group), and SIBRA – Eletrosiderúrgica Brasileira S/A.

As an entrepreneur, he is a partner of JRP Consultoria Empresarial Ltda. covering administrative, controllership, accounting, tax and corporate areas. Former professor of Financial Math with the state education system, he lectured on “Accountants heading into the labor market”, “Entrepreneurship – business operation” and “Business Taxation” at Faculdade Visconde de Cayrú and Universidade Católica do Salvador.

Instructor for several vocational courses, appraiser of the Tax Fraud study prepared by graduates from the Accounting course at UNIFACS, member of the Tax Affairs Council (CAFT) of the State of Bahia Employers Federation (FIEB), alternate member of the Investment and Financing committee for the Standing Regional Forum of small and mid-size companies of the State of Bahia’s Industry and Commerce department.

AURÉLIO CEZAR DA SILVA CARDOZO

Has a bachelor degree in Law, Economics and Business Management; a master’s in International Trade and Management; and a graduate degree in Finance and Business Management.

Independent member with 29 years of professional experience in management and board positions for medium and large companies in the engineering, business consulting, industrial, auditing segments and services in financial, administrative, auditing, corporate planning, economic, financial and tax, treasury, controllership, budgets, costs, human resources and legal areas.

He has a strong leadership for investment profitability and feasibility processes and analysis, structuring financial transactions, due diligence, investor relations and M&A processes.

Professor in higher education for the following disciplines: business management, industrial management and strategic planning.
